Which shape fits my body?

The picture above is an overview of different body types. We know that the picture is limited, but many can fit into variants of these and it can be a good helper when it comes to finding your shape. (Remember that any of these basic forms comes in all kinds of heights and with more or less body mass.)

Let's go through an example: Two dresses, but with different cuts and shapes. One has a distinct X-shape, the other H-shape. You have looked over the form and perhaps found out that you are a rectangle. With the X-skirt you might have to go up in size because your widest point is the narrowest of the skirt. With the H-skirt you may need to consider going down a size since your shape corresponds better to the dress. So you have to think all the way to find the right size.

Let's take an example: Are you a pear-shape, so maybe you go down in size in the X-dress because the skirt's narrowest point is just at your own narrow point. Similarly, you would have to go a lot in size if the H-dress were to fit around the hips and your neat upper part would be completely gone in too much fabric on top. An H-dress will probably not fit the shape of a pear.

No matter what shape you have, it is also important to see which material the garment is in. 100% pure viscose or cotton has no elasticity and will therefore be experienced little if the shape does not fit. Wool and viscose jersey have good elasticity and will be experienced normally or even large in size. We want you to find the clothes that fits your shape. Not necessarily choose in from size. A number says nothing about the shape or material used. What matters is that you wear something that fits you, which makes you feel good and makes you feel safe, secure and happy. :) We are happy to help if you send us a message.
