A classic and feminine coat with a belt. The coat has a classic X-shape and "invisible" side pockets in the front panel seams. The coat is waisted, but still loosely fitted in the waist. The extra material can be fitted with the belt. This is how I've envisioned the coat to be worn. However, if the coat fits perfectly without extra width in the waist, it will look just as good. If you've been following me for a while, you might expect the coat to have a snug fit and think the excess material in the waist must be wrong. This is not the case. It is merely a coat designed to fit several measurements and body types equally feminine and nicely.
How warm is the coat? In this manner it's quite like other classic winter coats. The material is nice and dense and the wool will provide good warmth. I would estimate it works well down to minus 8-9 degrees with a little extra wool underneath.
